Oh, my gosh is it cold...right now, in Erie, PA it's a whopping zero. And my yard is buried in a couple feet of snow. I've spent the better part of the weekend helping shovel us out again, and again, and again. How long until spring? LOL
But there are some perks to all this snow. I don't feel guilty about hermiting in my house, working on the laptop on the couch, right in front of the fireplace, underneath my quilt! All that snow means, I'm getting my writing done at a record pace! Hope you all are warm wherever you are!
Oh, and I have two more foreign books out in February...Once Upon a Prince has a Czech and a Polish translation. I love having my books travel (someday I'm hoping to travel as far as they have!)...it gives me geeky glee! Plus, Here With Me is in a new hardcover, large print reprint from Thorndike, available at Amazon or Barnes and Noble online.
Okay, stay warm...find a good book to read. I just got Cheryl St. John's newest book, The Lawman's Bride, and Nancy Warren's Speed Dating calling my name!!

Oh my goodness I didn't know you guys got so much snow out there. It is cold here too but luckly we don't have the snow. I hope you get all your books done.
ReplyDeleteBrenda, Snow is what Erie does best! One year we were in a race with Buffalo for most snow. Our tv weather guy sounded so excited that we might beat Buffalo with that night's anticipated snowfall. I wanted to deck him! LOL

Hi Hall!
ReplyDeleteJust don't send that snow over here to the UK will you? I've found that what you get tends to reach us here about 10 days or so later. Now if I was like you and deep in the writing cave I wouldn't mind - but I'm supposed to be going to Ireland next week - I'd love it if the plane could actually take off!
Does Ethel like the snow? Sid the cat hates it.
Keep warm
Hugs
Kate
Kate,
ReplyDeleteI'll try to steer it elsewhere, but promise nothing. It's nine degrees this morning, and feels almost balmy!
And yes, Ethel adores the snow. She's all black, so when she dunks her entire snout into a snow drift, she comes out with a very visible beard!
Stay warm there!!
Holly
How is all the snow going there? We are supposed to get 4 to 6 inches here tonight I guess we will have to wait and see so far it has not started. I will be glad when Spring gets here.
ReplyDeleteI want to wish you a Very Happy Valentine's Day! I hope you get to have some alone time with your hubby!
Brenda,
ReplyDeleteJust watched the weather and the snow's heading our way. Here in Erie, most of our snow comes from the north, blown from Canada over the lake. This one's tracking from the south. I guess it doesn't matter what direction it comes from...it's on the way! Shouldn't hit here until afternoon. I can't feel too bad. They just showed pictures from New York, and the family's home they featured was so buried, you could walk up the snow and simply step onto the roof. Eeek!
Happy Valentine's for you as well. My daughter has a bball game, so that's my dh's and my romantic date! LOL The joys of parenting!
Holly
Well I think we have most of the snow it was only 3 1/2 inches but now it is blowing all over the place so who knows if it is still snowing or what. There is some ice under the snow so it is slippery but I did make it to work today. Only one other person made it here, I thought I had better keep coming since I only have a few days left. I think my last day will be March 9th. Then off to job searching. Have a great time at the ball game.
ReplyDeleteBrenda,
ReplyDeleteBe careful driving in this! It's horrible out here tonight and supposed to get worse! Ugh. How long until spring?
