Well, Once Upon a Princess was translated again...this time it's in Czech. I love it when the books travel. Are you from another country and looking for Harlequin Books? There are links on my link page to a number of them. If you know of another site in a country not listed, email me and I'll add it! Truly, it gives me such geeky glee to see them travel.

Speaking of geeky glee (and really most of the glee in my life is quite geeky), I got a Dyson vacuum the other day. If you read about my contest, you'll know we have a dog. Ethel Merrman, and boy does she shed. And boy, does the Dyson pick up that hair. It's amazing to watch. And I'll confess, I no longer say I'm vacuuming...I say I'm Dysoning. LOL Yep, geeky glee.

  1. That is good to know about the Dyson, I need a new vaccum that works and I was wondering if it would pick up animal hair that good. So I am glad someone that has one has talked about it. It sounds like a fun tool.

  3. Brenda,

Well, the kids frequently comment on the fact she has a beard and unibrow, but I consider them endearing. As for the Dyson, they're expensive, but I'm loving mine. It's got a huge cord, and an under the bed attachement, that you can attach to the fourteen foot hose and get everywhere. I'd just vacuumed the morning I got it, and went over it that night and got a ton more hair. (Maybe they should hire me as a commercial? LOL)

  4. They are expensive but only in the short-term - in the long run (imho) they're worth every penny. I don't think a cheaper one would last very long in my house with all the heavy duty pet hair and daily mess my family make!!

  5. Sue,

Yes, pets are tough, but truly, families are the most expensive pets to keep! LOL I'm still loving mine (family and Dyson LOL)!
