There's a new contest on my website!!

My first contest in 2007 is designed to celebrate my February Avalon release, Laugh Lines. I'm giving away a hardback copy of my '06 Avalon release, Night Calls. It was story that featured a dog, Dudley. Dudley's based on our Old English Mastiff who passed away last year. They're both big, slimy and very sweet.

So, how do you enter? Just send me an email with "contest" in the header, and tell me about your favorite pet. I'll post excerpts on my blog, Hollyworld. Send me your email at Holly@HollysBook.com and I'll enter your name in a drawing. You'll also be signed up for my newsletters!

Oh, and other fun news...one of my first Silhouette Romances, Do You Hear What I Hear? is available in France as part of a holiday anthology, while Once Upon a Princess is visiting Poland this month.

Congratulations to Sue! She won the last contest...that little "Library" bag!

Happy 2007!

Holly

  2. Hi, Brenda!!

Cheryl's a doll to talk about my contest. (That's Cheryl St. John, if you're reading this and don't know who we're talking about. There's a link to her blog in the right column of my blog!)

Anyway, welcome!! Do you have a favorite pet??

  3. I have three favorites the first one is not with us anymore we just lost him last month he was over 20 years old. He had him since he was 6 weeks old. His name was Alf( off the alien show)

The second one is a miniature long haired dachshund. He doesn't seem to know that he is a small dog he chases the big ones and he jumps off all the tall furniture. He was bought for one of my daughters that said she was trying to get over a boy and needed something to take care of. Well with that being the reason I said it would have to be a dog I would want. And yes he is mine. His name is Mickey.

The 3rd pet is a cat she is very different and really doesn't like very many people. She is a little better now that Alf is gone. My other daughter bought her at the pet store with money she had made that day from a yard sale. Her name is Uriko

  4. Oh, Brenda, they seem delightful. And I recognize Mickey's spirit in my childhood toy poodle...he thought he was a big dog, too!

We lost our mastiff last January, and bought our new mutt in February. Ethel Merrman is a bit...quirky. My dh claims that's why I adore her, that we're kindred spirits. For instance, she has to circle the entire car before she can get in it. And she can only get in (or out) of the back driver's side door. LOL
