Some weeks I love Mondays...this is one of them!

Today I have a free online short story, The Moments, starting at eHarlequin.com. It's tied to my first Everlasting Love release, THE HOUSE ON BRIAR HILL ROAD, on October 1st, which is a book about the Conway family. About their ups and downs...about their pulling together and sadly, about them falling apart.

I was thrilled when I was afforded a chance to do the The Moments. It features the main characters' of the book daughter, Livie. At the end of THOBHR, Livie said, "My mother always said life was made up of the small moments and it was punctuated by the big ones." I knew that sentence had to be the theme of her story. But how to present a broad scope to her romance in a short story? It was a challenge, and really pushed me as a writer. But I think the story shows those moments. You can find it at https://www.eharlequin.com/article.html?articleId=1299

I hope you'll check it out!

  6. Mickey,

Thanks so much for ordering The House on Briar Hill Road...I so hope you like it!

As for Dysons, I have the DC14 Animal (just ran and looked it up). It's purple, if that helps! I still love it, and am amazed at how much more it picks up than my old one!

  7. I got one this weekend I got the DC17 and I love it, it is purple too and I think it will suck the paint off the walls if I am not careful. I love it, it is like a new toy and I want to use it all the time can't believe how much it gets out after I had just went over it. Wow everyone needs one of these. I heard my books just arrived at home so I can't wait to get home and read it. You know I am a working girl now so not much free time for the things I love to do like reading and baking. (I am so sad))
Thanks for the help with the Dyson.

  8. Oh, Mickey, I can just see you sucking up the curtains with your Dyson because you can! LOL Enjoy. It really does make cleaning more fun!

And oh, I hear you about not having enough time for things you enjoy. My TBR pile of books is breeding, I swear it is! But it's nice to see all those books and know whenever I can scrape out a minute, I have options!
