Teaser Tuesday and a Giveaway...Carry Her Heart

It's Teaser Tuesday and it's the last day to be sure you're entered in my March giveaway.

So what's this month's giveaway? A notebook...why?
Because the idea of writing in a journal/notebook is a big part of April's CARRY HER HEART.

Today's teaser is my heroine, Piper, speaking about the first time she opened her journal...a journal that becomes a very big part of her life.

Write in me. Fill me with letters, adding one to another until you have a word. Then stack those words and turn them into colors and textures. Turn those into feelings and joy. Turn them into a story. Not one of your normal stories, those broad-brush strokes that paint the pictures that parade through your mind. Turn this into Amanda’s story.

String those words together and paint her story. Tell her about all the good she’s done, even if she hasn’t been aware of it. 

I opened that leather journal now and the spine crackled softly. And as I stared at that first blank page, I knew it was time.
